The Smoothskin Pure Fit IPL(Intense Pulsed Light) Hair Removal device gives you ultra-powerful and precise pain-free hair removal.

It is the most powerful IPL device available. It comes with 10 power settings to treat your entire body in 10 minutes. The power of the device gets automatically adjusted to your skin tone - where the sensors keep checking your skin and creating an intensity level just for you! The Smoothskin Pure fit has a UV filter that blocks harmful rays. The precision head can be used to target hair removal where you want to remove buzz - especially near lips, chin, toes and bikini or in small and precise areas. It has 3 comfort levels - which you can choose such that you have a hair removal experience for your sensitivity level! Gentle mode reduces the power intensity if you are finding it painful. Speed mode reduces the power as well, but is used for larger areas where hair is less dense.

This device works by using flashes of light to kill off your hair follicles, by directing the light to the melanin in your hair follicle. When these hair follicles are killed, they stop producing more hair, and overtime give you bare and smooth skin. This FDA cleared-device operates at 130 flashes a minute for IPL hair removal treatments.

It has two treatment modes - Glide and Stamp. Glide mode is for larger areas like legs, while the Stamp mode is for delicate areas like your face, jawline and bikini line. This device also comes with a 2-year warranty.

Frequency and Direction of Use:
1. Shave and dry the area you want to treat.
2. Plug in the device.
3. Place the device flat against the skin.
4. When the Skin Tone Sensor measures a valid skin tone, the present Power Output will be displayed on the power bars (side of your device. Lesser lights means darker skin tone and lower power setting, more lights means lighter skin tone and higher power).
5. Toggle between the power mode of your liking, using the Mode button (present underneath Activation button).
6. Press the activation button. The device will flash, and a warm sensation should be felt.
7. Move the Handset to the next area to be treated and repeat. The device needs to recharge between flashes. This will only take about 0.6 seconds.
8. Attach the Precision head for small and precise areas.
9. Repeat the process across all areas you want to treat.
10. After treatment, always switch off SmoothSkin Pure Fit by unplugging it from the electrical outlet. After use, the handset, skin tone sensors, and treatment window should be inspected for damage and wiped down with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do this 5 minutes after using the device as the glass filter might be hot.
12. Use once a week for 12 weeks. Then use every 2-4 weeks for a top-up!

Recommended Tips

  • Before you use the SmoothSkin Hair Removal Device, do a patch test on an area approximately 3cm x 2cm in size. Check for 24 hours after the patch test for any effects.
  • When the unit is left “inactive” i.e. no buttons are pushed for 10 minutes then the unit will revert to STANDBY mode, and the lights will switch off. To return to the treatment, press the Activation Button.
  • Make sure not to cover the vents on the device whilst treating, as this can lead to the device overheating.
